It appears the media is nothing but misleading these days. Highlighting the negative on every angle, from the feuding political parties, to the spree of school shootings, and finally the tragedy of Trayvon Martin, it seems we need to learn to live together. Timmy Thomas certainly knows how to harmonize with others as his song "Why Can't We Live Together" has been going strong since its debut in December 1972. Hitting number one in the R&B charts in February of 1973, as well as number three in the pop charts, Timmy Thomas proves the priceless value of music in our world. 40 years later, as Dorian Reyes of Red Rock Studios, in Miami, was producing vocal artist Alana Joy, the two found something special in the song. |

Dr. Frank Levy and Steve Tucker of Worldwide Entertainment were thrilled to have the opportunity to orchestrate this remake of the classic with todays' sound and added message, with the incorporation of Timmy, the legend, and the soulful voice of Alana. We contacted Timmy for this collaboration, and history is in the making, once again.
Joy adds a modern edge to the 1970's hit and Timmy Thomas maintains his energy as the positive vibrations radiate from within the melody. Right now we need artists such as Joy and Thomas to enrich the young minds and mislead hearts in this country. Because no matter what color; we are still brothers. Everybody wants to live together, so why can't we just be together? No more war, just a little peace, because in the end we all gotta live together.
